Offset Printing Method
The offset printing method offers the highest possible printing quality. Designs in color-scale (CMYK) or with special colors in cartridges or HKS can be displayed accurately, adapted to potential color samples or fans. Due to the high quality of offset printing, it can be used for the printing of security features.
Digital Printing in Offset Quality
Cards printed digitally by SmartContactless cannot be distinguished in their quality from the common offset printing, thanks to the Offset-Similar-Printing method (“OSP”). Small runs can thus be produced quickly and cost efficiently.
Screen Printing
Card layouts with rich, solid colors and especially opaque paint applications are produced in screen printing. Special colors in cartridges, HKS, PMS or RAL can be realized just as mixed colors according to customer demand or template. Even metallic effects or security colors are possible.

CYMK
As the basics among the printing colors, CYMK is Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black and can be processed in offset and digital printing.
Special Colors
We can print your desired color. Whether using common color systems such as Pantone, PMS, or individual color templates – depending on the type of printing and the desired result, we can produce almost any color request.
Metallic Effects
Three standard metallic tones are available for screen printing: fine and coarse silver as well as pearl silver. By printing over these metallic base tones with translucent inks in offset or OSP printing, colors ranging from gold to bronze and even platinum as well as almost any other metallic tone can be achieved.

Have you ever had to reorder cards but don’t have the original printing information? SMART Contactless will create the re-digitaliztion of the layout. Simply, we can reproduce your existing card sample and adapt the visual appearance to match the original card.

Proof Sheet & Approval
Before production starts, we produce a proof sheet and make it available to you as a PDF document. Only after the signed approval will we begin with the production of your order.
Print sample and print approval
When placing a sensitive and costly order, we advise you to order a proof sample. Very difficult color mixtures can be assessed and corrected directly at the machine.
Color Management & Accuracy
We use a thoroughly standardized ISO-color profile. If your data comes with its own profile, we keep and adapt it accordingly. SMART Contactless prints according to your color specifications. Even delivered samples or objects can be classified and implemented on a plastic card.
